EL'S Empowerment Foundation empowers widows and children in Nigeria


EL'S Empowerment Foundation, a Non-governmental organisation (NGO)  recently empowered some widows and school children in Nigeria. 

The foundation has been holding empowerment programmes for the widows and pupils across different states in the country.

From September to October, 2021, EL'S Empowerment Foundation had empowered hundreds of less privileged in Nigeria.

The foundation's recent outreach programmes was held in Northern states of Kano and Kaduna.

The events for the pupils were held in primary schools including Kano Rumfa primary school, Kwankwachi Special Primary School kano and L. E. A primary School, Barnawa, Kaduna state.

There were also parties for widows and children in Adonai Children and Widows Centre, Kaduna, and Chemchery Hotel Barnawa, Kaduna.

Before that, EL'S Empowerment Foundation had also empowered widows and pupils in some southern states.

The widows were gifted clothing materials, food stuff, grinding machines, sewing machines and lots more.

The school children got educational materials including books, bags, uniforms, clothes, footwears, amongst other items.

EL'S Empowerment Foundation, founded by Adesuwa Ogechi Udo, a Nigerian actress, filmmaker and philanthropist, is a non-profit organisation established to improve the lives of neglected widows and children by empowering them to become self sufficient through education and skills acquisition.
