Nollywood holds memorial for late actor Frank Dallas (PHOTOS)

Nollywood practitioners on Thursday, April 29, 2021 held a memorial and tribute evening for late colleague, Frank Dallas Ebulukwu.

The filmmaker and actor passed on February 20, 2020 in Umuahia, Abia state capital, after a brief illness while attending an event.

While his friends and colleagues were planning for his funeral, Nigeria recorded its first Coronavirus case which resulted in the government imposing restriction on movement and gathering.

A private burial was later held by Dallas's family on June 6, 2020, at his hometown, Ikputu Oboro in Ikwuano local government area of Abia state.

Movie practitioners had slated his memorial to be on February 2021, but the death of Chico Ejiro, a filmmaker and closed friend of Dallas, in late December 2020, led to another postponement.

Finally, the former National PRO of the Actor's Guild of Nigeria (AGN) was honoured by his friends and colleagues on Thursday.

The event held at the National Theater, Lagos, had in attendance top personalities from the entertainment and creative industry.

Ejike Asiegbu, a former President of AGN, Francis Onwochei, Chidi Nwokeabia, Fred Amata, Victor Osuagwu and Sunny McDon were present to honour their fallen colleague.

Some other notable faces at the ceremony include Moji Oyetayo, current AGN President, Lagos chapter, media personality Matthew Nwankwo, and actor Charles Inojie.

Dallas's wife, two daughters and siblings also attended the memorial
