Late filmmaker, Chico Ejiro, better known as Mr. Prolific, was laid to rest on Saturday, February 20, in Delta state.
The deceased was buried at the Ejiro’s compound in Ozoro, Isoko north local government area of the state.
Chico Ejiro had breathed his last after suffering a seizure in December last year at age of 57.
He was popular for his blockbuster movies in the 90s, some of which included ‘Silent Night,’ ‘Blood Money,’ and ‘Deadly Affair’.
The deceased had an illustrious career in the Nigerian movie industry, directing over 80 films. He was also credited for discovering talents like Jim Iyke, Ramsey Nouah, Victoria Inyama, among others.
Nollywood heavyweights including Bob Manuel Udokwu, Desmond Elliott, Emeka Rollas Ejezie, Francis Duru, Zik Zulu Okafor and Mike Nliam attended the burial ceremony.
