Nigerian Valentine Okolo featured among 220 poets from 16 countries in pandemic community poem

Valentine Okolo has achieved another feat as he represented Nigeria among a worldwide community of great Poets.

During the heat of the Coronavirus, 220 poets from sixteen countries around the globe were asked to contribute a single sentence poem which encapsulates their personal perspectives on the pandemic and the ensuing lockdowns. 

All the contributed sentences were used to create a community poem: a poem which bears all the thoughts, angst, and desires of all the participating poets.

Valentine Okolo, the author of the bestselling poetry book, "I Will Be Silent", was the only poet selected from Nigeria. His single sentence poem was published alongside that of over 200 poets from 16 countries. 

The poem was published by Muse-Pie Press, a literary establishment which has been publishing award-winning poetry since 1980.
