While her son is in the business of fighting crime and apprehending criminals, she is among those in managing illegals sent to prison.

Mrs Stella Ngozi Opara is among the 25 Controllers of Corrections who were this month promoted to the rank of Assistant Controller-General of Corrections at the Nigerian Correctional Service.

Mrs Opara, who was recently decorated with her new rank as a senior Nigerian Prison Officer, was celebrated by her son, Chigozie Bruno Opara, on social media on Thursday.
Interestingly, Chigozie Opara is currently an Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in the Nigerian Police Force.

Bruno, nicknamed Nigerian "Super Cop" has become an internet sensation because of his smart dressing and good looks.

He was a trending topic across social media platforms back in May 2020 with his stylish photos flooding the internet.
Celebrating his mother on Instagram, the proud son shared her photos alongside the caption, "Congratulations to the latest Assistant Controller General of the Nigerian Correctional Service, my beautiful Mum."

Bruno Opara was part of the security personnel that enforced Governor Nyeson Wike's tough lockdown measures in Rivers state to curb the spread of coronavirus.
