"Imagine if Kim Kardashian becomes first Lady" - Americans react as Kanye West declares for President

Kanye West has declared his interest to be the nest President of the United States, but Americans are more interested in Kim Kardashian becoming the first Lady.

The Award-winning rapper took to his Twitter page to break the news, a development that comes as a surprise to many of his fans.

“We must now realize the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020VISION,” he wrote.

His presidential bid announcement had immediately got the backing of CEO of Tesla, Elon Musk, Inc, an American electric vehicle and clean energy company.

“You have my full support!” the American billionaire replied West’s tweet.
It was not immediately clear if West,  a known supporter of US president, Donald Trump, is serious about his post.

It was also not clear yet if he had filed any official paperwork to appear on state election ballots.

The 42-year-old’s post comes about two months after he declared he would be voting for Trump ahead of the poll, citing a booming real estate market as a key reason for his support.

“I’m definitely voting this time. And we know who I’m voting on. And I’m not going to be told by the people around me and the people that have their agenda that my career is going to be over,” he had told GQ Magazine in May.

If the announcement is anything to go by, it means the rapper will be challenging Trump and his supposed rival former US vice-president, Joe Biden, at the presidential election billed for November 3.

Meanwhile, the internet is paying more attention to Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian, who will become the US first lady should her husband succeed in his presidential bid.

The fireworks started after Kim endorsed her hubby's ambition.
