BBNaija's Khafi demands justice for the murder of her brother in London

The London Police are still hunting for the killers of Alexander Kareem, younger brother to former Big Brother Naija housemate, Khafi Kareem.

The 20-year-old “computer whiz” who was due to study IT at University in September, had just left a shop in Askew Road when he was gunned down at 12.40am on June 8.

Detectives hunting the gunman who shot Alex have issued a £10,000 reward for information – received anonymously – which leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for his death..

The Police, who believe the killing was a case of mistaken identity, had issued an image of a white Range Rover found burned out about two miles from the crime scene and appealed for information.

Alexa Loukas, London regional manager at Crimestoppers said: “Alexander had a great future ahead of him and his life has been senselessly cut short. We are offering this reward because his family deserve to see justice.”

Khafi, in an Instagram post on Wednesday, said information of the whereabouts of her brother’s killer(s) will be of great help to her family.

"Almost a month on and the person who has broken my family still has not been found. The hardest thing was not being there for my brother when he cried out for help. I’m praying we can help him now. If you know who did this please come forward. I beg you. #HelpAlex," she said.

"It is painful to now have this in my family. I joined back then because I wanted to make a difference and now I’m needing the difference to be made in our lives for my brother’s killers to be brought to justice.

"I wouldn’t wish this for my enemy. You do see it on TV that another black boy has been shot, another black boy has been stabbed. Alex is not just another black boy, he was such a lovely boy."
