One of these couples will be crowned winner of Ultimate Love on Sunday

Five couples in the 2020 edition of the Ultimate Love reality TV show will be competing at grand finale this coming Sunday, March, 29.

The organizers of the show, MultiChoice Nigeria, had announced on Tuesday night, that the show is ending earlier than scheduled due to the coronavirus crisis.

The show which kicked off on Feb. 9, 2020, was originally scheduled to end on April 5.

The finale voting which commenced on Wednesday, closed on Friday night, and the winner will be announced on Sunday.

Two couples couldn't make it to the final as they were evicted on Thursday after receiving the least votes from viewers. They are Presh and David (PreshDavid), and Obichukwu and Ebi (ObiEbi).

Prior to Thursday, four couples had already been checked out from the show, with one single individual, Uche, voluntarily quitting early after rejecting his pairing partner, Chris.

Below are photos of the finalist.

Iyke & Theresa (Iykeresa)

Bolanle and Arnold (Bolar)

The Ultimate Love kicked off with 16 housemates, which later increased to 23 as more "Love Guests" were added to the show.

The Love Guests were later paired as couples as the show follows the journey of single men and women called Love Guests living together in the Love Pad in their quest to find life-long love and build a relationship as a couple that could culminate in marriage.

The winning couple will rewarded with a lavish traditional wedding ceremony, a fully furnished home, among other prizes.
