Reno Omokri pulls UK PM Boris Johnson to join the Free Leah Sharibu movement

Former Presidential aide, Reno Omokri, is pulling world leaders to join the campaign to free Leah Sharibu from the hands of Boko Haram.

The activist and author on Wednesday shared a photo of him and the British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, who is holding the "Free Leah Sharibu" T-shirt.

Omokri used the opportunity to campaign for the UK Prime Minister and his party for the upcoming general elections.

"I urge all my followers and every member of the #RenosNuggets family who is eligible to vote in the UK to vote for my friend, Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and the Conservatives. Mr. Johnson is good for the UK and the world!‬ ‪ #FreeLeahSharibu," he wrote.

Leah Sharibu was abducted alongside over 100 other students by the terrorist group when she was 14 years old in February 2014 at the Government Girls Science and Technical Secondary School in Dapchi, Yobe state.

All of the girls in captivity were later released through back-channel efforts–except Leah Sharibu because she refused to denounce her Christian faith and convert to Islam.

Omokri was recently honoured with the "Most Outstanding Humanitarian Cause" Award for his relentless campaign to free Leah Sharibu at the 6th annual Hollywood Weekly Magazine Film Festival in Los Angeles, California, over the weekend.

At the event, Omokri was able to pull Nollywood stars including Ejike Asiegbu, Jeta Amata, Zik Zulu Okafor to join the campaign to free the young girl from the hands of the terror group.
